Leeds Castle
Imagine a scene out of the wind in the willows and voila. Living by the words of poet Robert Frost, we took the path untaken. Glimpsing everything from a baby fox to bee hives to swans & Canada geese all deviling in the sunshine near the ponds and throughout the grounds. The joy I received from exploring these lovely lands, wonder, beauty, fright all left my heart feeling so light and in love with the world.
Please note: do not get frightened if a bee / or wasp comes near you. During the summer you are bound to run into at least a few due to all the pollen and if you try to swat it away, the more aggravated it will become. Take a few step backs and then RUN.

Curious as to how many gardeners the property needed to maintain the grounds was a constant thought. From willows to gardenias, to hydrangeas in every color plus a thousand more species that I didn’t recognize. It was beauty at every corner that we experienced outside.
All in all, The Princes Alexandria Gardens are spectacular.
