Patrick Nagger // Reflections hosted by Ralph Pucci

It was a brisk Tuesday night in Manhattan. Temperatures had dropped and winter was making it well aware that it had joined the party. This did not hinder the lovely palpable crowd that gathered at Ralph Pucci on 18th street in between 5th and 6th.

Patrick Naggar’s collection reflections was subtly sexual, with its voluptuous forms caressing the space. Organic rounded steel tables, vibrant lush velvet chairs and sofas spotted around the room.

Creating such a beautiful juxtaposition between form and materiality leaving oneself feeling inside a soft fuzzy happiness. Not only were the forms organic, they pushed engineering boundaries of using ~1/4” think rounded steel to create the shapes.

Colorful capsule light fixtures bopping around the space. If I were to take a stab at where the glass was sourced from I would say murano.

Not only was it a lovely exhibition, but it was about time that I made it back to the Ralph Pucci showroom. The impeccably curated space lends beauty to the pieces it holds. The exposed brick // services add a unique beauty to the palette.
